The Cleveland Cavaliers have clinched the NBA championship with a 113-106 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
James is the first NBA player to win a title with three triple dunks in a game.
The triple dunk in Game 7 is the seventh of James’ career and his third in a single game.
The Cavs, who had won two straight before James’ fourth, have won the NBA’s most games since LeBron’s third triple dunk.
LeBron has six titles and the NBA has won seven of the last eight NBA titles.
James scored 30 points for Cleveland, which led for most of the first half.
But he missed a dunk and missed a jumper that could have tied it up with 1:37 remaining.
He had 13 points in the first two quarters.
James missed two shots in the second quarter, including one that should have been a three-pointer.
The Cavaliers scored 21 points in that period, and they led by as many as 11 points at halftime.
They were led by the dynamic shooting of James and the defense of Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.
Jordan had 24 points for Los Angeles, which was outscored 21-6 in the paint and scored 24 points off turnovers.
The Clippers had the ball for much of the second half, but they had fewer than 11 second-half points.
The Clippers outscouted the Cavs in the fourth quarter, but James got the better of them in the final two minutes of the game.
James hit three 3-pointers in the third quarter, and he had 17 points in one quarter before he was fouled on a dunk.
The Lakers trailed by 16 when James’ third triple was scored.
He missed another attempt before the Cavs scored nine of their first 10 points to close the quarter.
The Cavaliers led by six in the last quarter, when James made a 3-pointer with 5:42 remaining.
They trailed by 20 points at the break before James tied it with a layup with 4:35 left.
James was fouling a couple of times and then had his first double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
He scored 20 points for his fourth triple-double.
James also had 17 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in a win over Houston on Monday.
He also scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in the win over New York on Tuesday.
