If you want to try a virtual reality game on your iPhone, you can’t just download the app on your phone.
Instead, you need to buy a virtual headset that supports the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive or Oculus Touch controllers.
The headsets are priced at £49, $69 and $79.
In other words, you’ll need to spend more than £1,000 if you want a full virtual experience.
We’ll be exploring how to play virtual reality games with your iPhone in the coming days.

The headset’s controller works on both iPhone and iPad, but if you buy a new controller for your iPhone you’ll have to buy the iPhone 6 Plus’ TouchID and iPhone 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 TouchID-enabled controller to use it.
If you buy an iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 Plus, you won’t have to spend extra on the headset because they’re compatible with the same controller.
